Job Description:

 We’re looking for a creative and motivated Social Media Content Intern to support our growing brand. This role is ideal for a student interested in photography, videography, and digital storytelling who wants hands-on experience creating content for a growing start-up, founded by Iowa State Alumni. You will work closely with our Sales and Marketing Lead, who will help guide content direction and strategy. Together, you’ll brainstorm post ideas and collaborate on filming, editing, and publishing engaging content across our social media platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Capture and edit photo and video content for social media platforms
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales and Marketing Lead on content planning and production
  • Film and photograph:
    • Cooking and recipe demonstration videos
    • On-farm production and aquaculture content
    • Behind-the-scenes manufacturing and daily operations
  • Help assemble and publish social media posts (captions, reels, stories, etc.)
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual style
  • Support the overall goal of building brand awareness and growing our social media following

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in college or a recent graduate (marketing, communications, design, film, or related fields preferred)
  • Comfortable and knowledgeable with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Youtube)
  • Strong photography and videography skills
  • Basic video and photo editing experience
  • Portfolio of photo/video work is strongly preferred (class projects, personal work, or social media accounts all count).

That Iowa Girl Assistant Manager Position

ASSISTANT MANAGER POSITION

That Iowa Girl is a distributor of local Iowa products across the entire state of Iowa and 4 other Midwestern States. Offering Refrigerated and non-refrigerated delivery to grocery stores, bakeries, restaurants and on-farm stores. Serving as a pivotal link between major producers and retailers and their smaller counterparts, including on-farm or locally owned stores, That Iowa Girl fills a critical gap in distribution.

 The Assistant Manager must have a desire and passion for helping small businesses and entrepreneurs succeed. A successful candidate must demonstrate very strong communication (especially phone and email) and organizational skills. Candidate must have a good driving record. Willing to drive a variety of trucks and vehicles (CDL is NOT required). Attention to detail, and being observant are key characteristics. Basic computer (Excel, Word, email) and mechanical skills are required. A candidate must be flexible and have the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks. Being detailed oriented and the ability to recognize potential problems and/or opportunities and act accordingly will be a strong characteristic. A candidate must have a strong work ethic with the ability to confidently work as a team or as an individual. Must be able to consistently lift more than 50 pounds.

Pay: $30,000 to $35,500 annual salary depending on experience (paid hourly with comp time) (delivery routes are paid by the route).

Location: Location of employment is 2425 Willow Ave, Panora, Iowa 50216.  Job is required in-person with no remote work.

Hours: Monday thru Friday starting time 4am. Some weekend hours, and travel may be required. Driving routes can be long days.
